Surat-based Engineer and Environmentalist Snehal Patel lives in a home which is set in the heart of nature and is completely off the grid. Solar and wind power is use to electrify this house. LED lights and high efficiency gadgets ensure minimum power consumption. Eco-home has no water or sewer connection and recycles and reuses rainwater.

Recycled wood and sustainable materials have been used in the house. Instead of an AC, greenery as well as a water body provides natural air conditioning. Thriving in biodiversity, this home has planted around 700 trees specially to attract birds and bees. Eco-home is one man's vision to inspire others to go the clean and green way and save the environment.
