About 17 per cent of the world's adult population will struggle with infertility at some point in their life, according to a new report from the World Health Organization (WHO), which is calling for better access to treatment.
Surprisingly, the new statistics, which encompass research between 1990 and 2021, show little difference regardless of country or culture.
