DRDO ने अग्नि प्राइम मिसाइल का सफल परीक्षण किया है। यह नई पीढ़ी की मीडियम रेंज बैलिस्टिक मिसाइल है। भारत अपने मिसाइल डिफेंस सिस्‍टम को लगातार मजबूत करने में लगा है। इस मिसाइल की रेंज में पूरा पाकिस्तान है । इस मिसाइल का तीसरी बार सफल परीक्षण किया है। पहले इसके दो सफल परीक्षण हो चुके हैं। मिसाइल पूरी तरह देश में बनी है।
यह मिसाइल 1,000 से 2,000 किमी तक टारगेट को नेस्‍तनाबूत कर सकती है
India successfully test-fired 'Agni Prime' - a new generation of ballistic missiles - from off the coast of Odisha. Defence officials said all test objectives were met and said that the third consecutive (and successful) test of the 'Agni Prime' had 'established the accuracy and reliability of the system'.
